Cooking Crockpot Recipes

When you are cooking a crockpot recipe, the amount of liquids added should be reduced from normal recipes. The reason for this is when cooking a crockpot recipe in a slow cooker, there is no place for the liquids to escape. They turn to steam and collect on the crockpot lid and then baste the food indide. This is what helps the crockpot recipe to taste so delicious.
